The Girls
Kush Kuntry's Snowy Morn' Sire: El Moustachio (Accoyo) Dam: Sweet Caroline (Bolivian) DOB 3/17/05 Snowy got her name from being born the morning of the last snowfall in '05. She certainly lives up to her name through her fleece. Bundles and bundles of crimpy fleece just as soft and blinding white as fresh fallen snow. Impecible conformation, sweet tempered and easy to handle. Proven mom with unassisted births and loads of milk. We were so impressed with the fiber in her first cria, we rebred Snowy to our full Bolivian herdsire, Senor Scooter. UPDATE: Snowy delivered a perfect female cria on 5/25/11. Textbook labor/delivery even though we had horrible storms and 'rotation' in our area. We thought it only fitting to name her, Stormy Morn'.
Three generations of perfection (above left) full Bolivian grand dam, Sweet Caroline; her (1/2 Bolivian & 1/2 Accoyo) daughter, Snowey Morn', and her new female (3/4 Bolivian & 1/4 Accoyo) cria, Stormy Morn'. Snowey priced a $6,500 (rebred without Stormy Morn) or $8,000. with Stormy

Sweet Caroline DOB: 06/09/02 Sire: Gold Stock (LF) Dam: Acero Marka's Cordelia (WH) Caroline is full bolivian. She has picture perfect conformation and was bought with the intended purpose of blending her fiber with accoyo and bolivian bloodlines. We never expected her to be the wonderful mother she is. Of all the pics we have of her, the one above reflects the most about her character. We bred Caroline to El Moustachio from Heart's Desire shortly after we purchased her. Therefore, she never made it into the showring before her breeding career. But, once she was unloaded, Mike Harnette tried and tried to buy her. Caroline has blessed us with 3 incredible offspring, Snowy Morn' (listed above), HeartBreaker (pictured w/Caroline above getting kisses) and Danali's Legend, our last Danali offspring born June '10. Caroline will be bred to DreamMaker and should deliver a fall '12 cria. Price: $5,000. (bred) |
Lillian Gold When I felt this girl, I knew I had to have her. Lily has the finest feel to her fiber. She has a tight, compact body and such a docile personality. Bought this girl - not for the lineage that stands behind her (Caligula and Hemingway), but the brightness and feel of her fiber. Since I believe in full disclosure, (and her previous owner did not see them), it is important to note that Lily has blue flecks in her left eye. Her first breeding did result in her cria, Annie, having a blue eye. For that reason, she is priced worth the money. Lily will be rebred this fall for a fall '12 cria. Check back soon to see the herdsire we have selected for her. Priced at $3,500. (bred) |
DreamBoat Annie - DOB 5/27/ sire: DreamMaker (1/2 Accoyo; 3/4 Peru) dam: Lillian Gold (Accoyo/Peru) Incredibly dense and fine, Annie in stunning. Her blanket is fawn and has the occassional 'freckle' throughout the rest of her beige body. Her coloration is a bit more noticeable when she stands among the white of her dam, Lily, in the photo above. It's easier to see she's 'peaches and cream'... Please note that Annie's left eye is blue. For that reason, her price is discounted. |
After over 8 yrs. of no illness or death(s), we marked our 10 year anniversary in 2010 with one heartache after another. Farm life got more difficult than there are words for, so indulge us as we show our rememberance here to some of our most beloved alpacas. Murphy also moved in herdsire row... In Memory KK Danali's Glory Hallelujah (6/5/07-8/3/10) Her sire, Danali, stamped his spectacular fleece into this girl. Light fawn with darker fawn markings along her tail, top knot, and ears. We chose our new Bolivian herdsire, Senor Scooter as her service sire. Sadly, we lost Glory (and her 9mos. fetus) in Aug. of '10. |
Lady Ann Rachel (9/4/02 - 8/13/10) Sire: Jackpot Red Dam: Lady Ann Aurora A Maximillian granddaughter and her dam is a rare dark rosegrey. On her sire side is the rosegrey of Jackpot Red and light silver & white of her grandsire from New Zealand, Wily Coyote. Rachel received 3rd place in halter at AOBA, Louisville, Ky. in 2004 and 2nd place in halter at Southern Select, Shelbyville in 2004. Since starting her breeding career in 2005, her fleece was awarded 2nd place in a class size of 7 at the Southern Select, in 2006 and went on to compete against 22 competitors to be awarded Color Reserve Champion! Bred to Prince Dane for a spring '11 cria. |
