Herdsire Row
From the beginning, we selected males that offered traits that would compliment and enhance the offspring produced by our girls. Our breeding herdsires are diverse in their contributions, yet offer many wonderful fiber characteristics along with a gentle disposition.
KK HeartBreaker DOB 9/26/06 Sire: Harmony's Danali Dam: Sweet Caroline HeartBreaker, aka "Heart" (above) is 1/2 Bolivian and almost 1/2 Accoyo. His dam is our solid white full Bolivian, Sweet Caroline and an exceptional mother. Heart is the spitin' image of his blue ribbon winning sire, Danali. Hearts fleece is dense, crimpy, and bright white. Easy breeder, sweet temperment, and will let you walk up with halter in hand and lead him anywhere. HeartBreaker would be a great contender for performance classes. His first cria is expected May 2011. Breeding fee: $600. (discount for multiples) Reduced Sale Price: $1,500. (Our females are related to Heart and we'll be unable to use him for awhile. We believe it's best to keep these boys working than 'collect' them... and we could use his space). |

Senor Scooter Full Bolivian DOB 10/28/2005 ARI #30331419
Sire: B964 CHALICHO IMPORTU98 DAM: COCONUT CREAM DE BOLIVIA F0218 A0A Senor Scooter made a lasting impression with me when he was just a yearling. He has such a presence. Perfect conformation, drop dead gorgeous fiber that is dense, dense, dense. and a disposition that made me want him even then. Breeding to him was always part of "the plan", but when his owners decided to sell him...we knew we had to buy Scooter for our breeding program. Scooter arrived at Kush Kuntry in late October '08 and began breeding a day later (it was his birthday gift). Scooter was bred to our 1/2 bolivian and 1/2 accoyo female, Snowey Morn'. Check out his first cria below and you'll see why we repeated that breeding. We are anxious to see his offspring in the show ring!!! So, if you're looking to add some outstanding bolivian genetics to your herd, come check him out. breeding fee: $600 OR sale price: 1/2 interest for $1,750. | |||
In Loving Memory Harmony's Danali 5/17/02 - 2/18/10
Sire: NWA, LTD ACCOYO LEGEND Grandsires : PPPeruvian Legend (Australia) and PPPeruvian El Moustachio We lost Danali 2/18/10. It wasn't until recently that we feel we know why. He underwent surgery at UT-Knoxville to repair a section of his small intestines. With no known reason for his condition. It wasn't until almost one year later that we were faced with a case of acorn toxicity that mirrored every symptom Danali had. With no known 'cures' for acorn toxicity, we blended a tonic of our own and sucessfully treated an alpaca with amazing results. If you have oak trees in your pastures, expect problems. Although we don't... we have a neighboring property owner that does. He has offered to cut it down before it blooms out this spring. Maybe our tragic loss of Danali will help others. To our surprise, we delivered an amazing male cria from one breeding to our Caroline just 4 months after we lost Danali. We never ultrasound Caroline, or have much chance to behavior test that summer. Danali's last cria will carry the name, Danali's Legend. We'll post pics after his first shearing. He's really looking nice!
